Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Book Form Vinaigrette Engraved J.W. & Co

Here for your consideration is this antique Victorian hinged vinaigrette.  This beautifully engraved piece measures 1 3/16 inches long by 11/16 wide with a depth of 4/16 of an inch and weighs in at 10.2 grams.  No monogram.  Made by Joseph Willmore & Co somewhere between 1797 & 1834.  Fully hallmarked on both the upper and lower portions of the interior.  Losses to gold wash on the exterior while the interior gold wash appears mostly intact.  Open up like a book nicely, while the interior portion can be accessed by taking a fingernail to the lower notch (easily opens with no issues).  Makes a fantastic addition to any collection or as a unique gift for a special someone.  Please review the photos carefully as they are an important part of the description and ask questions
