    Description

In the Horse and Buggy days, open sewers were still common.
Ladies of refinement carried a vinaigrette to overpower the offensive smell.
This one was hand held and contained either a perfumed handkerchief or flowers.
Size of the vinaigrette is 6" long, and 2" across.
Size of the perfume bottle is 2 3/4" high and 2 1/4" wide, and 1" thick.
The perfume bottle was used to re-charge the hankie.
    Handkerchief is included.
