Sterling Silver Vinaigrette by Ledsam & Vale of Birmingham England, Made1825-26

Description

This is a very nice english sterling pocket vinaigrette with gold coated interior by Ledsam & Vale.  The company made sterling boxes in the early 19th century and were located in Birmingham England. It is fully marked including the date mark for 1825-26.  It has a tiny fancy script monogram with one letter over another.  I cannot be sure what letters they are.  There are some tiny shallow dents that can be seen in the photos but keep in mind these items were used regularly.  It closes snugly.
The size is 1 1/4 x 3/4 x 1/4 inches.
