Westmoreland Line #1940-2 Electric Lamp Hand Painted Yellow Roses D Schnupp 1978
The
lampshade
is singed 1978 and the middle piece of glass was signed in 1976. I don't know why.
Measurements:
The lamp measures 19" to the top of the chimney
Condition:
The lamp has damage.
I believe the lamp to be all original signed by the artist. Looking at the photos you will see the lampshade has a crack located at the base. There is a little roughness at the base of the shade.
You also see in the photos that the connector which is the brass directly above the base and below the middle glass has had some stress cracks and is missing a piece.
Both the shade and the bottom piece of glass is signed by the artist. For some reason the shade is signed 1978 and gold paint and at the base of the lamp it is signed in green paint 1976.
The brass connector can be replaced but I couldn't find one close to matching it.
